Myra Ancient City, well known for its rock tombs, is situated in Antalya, Demre. The city of Myra was so well known all around the world since St. Nicholas was the bishop of that town. And also Myra was one of the largest 6 cities of the Lycian Civilization at that era.

The river of MYROS, which was passing through the city center, has brought fruitfulness to the city and has developed sea trade. Nowadays, Demre is an important center for agricultural production for Turkey.
